ᐅ Decentralized ventilation system with 24V?

Hello,

I am building a KfW 70 house in May and have chosen decentralized ventilation systems for the bathrooms. Since my bathrooms are quite small, the bathtub has to be placed on the outer wall side. The problem is: due to the installation zone of 2.25 meters (7.4 feet) for a bathtub, I can no longer install a ventilation system there! However, it would be possible with 24 V.

I have already searched online but unfortunately found nothing. Has anyone here ever found a 24 V ventilation system?

Yes, I only have one exterior wall in the bathroom.
And since that exterior wall includes a 1.13-meter-wide (3.7-foot) window and the bathroom is only 7.65 square meters (82 square feet) in total with a bathtub, shower, sink, and toilet, there is simply no space left.

Hopefully, your planner took that into account when sizing the heating surfaces!
Also, it is important to clearly distinguish between ventilation systems and exhaust systems in general!
You are probably referring to a simple exhaust system in the bathroom without heat recovery? In this case, a room-specific negative pressure is created, which must be balanced by supply air in some form. If you have a wood stove in the building, this can become problematic, especially assuming a connected air system and with demand-controlled ventilation (DCV)!
In the worst case, this increases infiltration of outside air into the building, which new constructions typically try to limit through airtightness requirements! Additionally, the air exchange rate will reduce non-linearly as the system runs, which is likely not the intended effect. This would be counterproductive!
An alternative would be a decentralized supply and exhaust ventilation system with heat recovery, which might be worth considering!

Option 1!

Best regards.

I want a decentralized ventilation system with heat recovery.
Anything else doesn’t make sense to me.
And out of 6 different quotes, only one mentioned compensation through wall heating.

Good luck with your project, as it is neither effective nor economically sensible overall. ;-)
In some cases, foregoing it entirely might be more economically valuable! ;-) "Half measures" rarely turn out well! ;-)

Best regards
