DragonyxXL22 Oct 2015 10:56Since we planned a hallway without windows in our house, we considered installing a daylight spotlight there. I have since done some research and found that there are about half a dozen providers offering such systems that "capture" daylight and reflect it through a channel into the interior of the house. In my view, the systems are quite similar, and the prices do not seem to vary significantly. Some sources mention that condensation can be a problem due to thermal bridges. However, I find it hard to believe that even some well-known providers would offer daylight spotlights where water would essentially accumulate.
Is there anyone here with experience using these systems?

We have a Velux window in the hallway. There was indeed condensation, specifically at the bottom of the glass or plastic pane. However, Velux replaced it without any issues. The cause was a manufacturing defect in the two seals. Since then, we have had no further problems.
