has anyone here had experience with daylight spotlights and/or Solatube systems?
The technology looks quite interesting. According to some online research, Solatube products are said to bring more light into a room than daylight spotlights, for example those from Velux. However, these are just reports I found in other forums, not firsthand experiences.
Has anyone installed a Velux system like this or can provide recommendations and/or reference projects in the Cologne/Bonn area?
Background information for me:
The hallway on the upper floor has no window for natural light. A Solatube system could brighten this approximately 16m² (170 sq ft) hallway. There would be about a 2-meter (6.5 ft) distance between the ceiling and the gable (length of the light tube).
