Does anyone here have dark gray windows on the interior, as mentioned above – a photo would be great.
I want basalt gray (RAL 7012) windows and am unsure which color to choose for the window handles, roller shutter winder, and roller shutter strap.
Can someone help me decide?

Think carefully about whether you really want strap winder mechanisms; simple tubular motors aren’t very expensive and significantly improve comfort 😉 You can also start with just push buttons/switches and upgrade to smart controls later if needed 🙂 Yes, motors would be great, but I don’t have any power outlet near the windows.

Since work around the windows is going to get messy anyway, it might be possible to run a cable into the wall. I installed a flexible cable behind the baseboard and a small cable duct behind the radiator, then routed it under the windowsill to the switch. This way, nothing is visible.

That’s kind of you to think ahead like that. But I’m getting 9 windows installed with a “no mess” guarantee, and the walls are made of stone (the house is over 100 years old). They would have to chase channels throughout the apartment since each window needs wiring. Still, thanks anyway.
