ᐅ Damage to corner edge profile caused by window sash

Hello everyone,

What can be done to prevent damage to corner edge profiles besides being careful? Children slam the windows open, causing the frame of the sash to lever against the corner profile and track, which loosens or cracks the plaster. The same can happen due to a strong gust of wind.

Are there any damping solutions that can be installed in this area? As long as the corner edge profile is not crushed, the damage can be repaired with plaster, although it is annoying. Replacing a damaged corner edge profile becomes much more difficult or even impossible.

We installed these dampers for this situation. They are also available in white. However, it should be noted that the window will not open as far anymore.
