Hello everyone,

I want to cut my Poroton T8 blocks as cleanly as possible and am looking to buy a saw for this purpose.
I have seen a used masonry band saw (Lissmac MBS). Can this model cut Poroton properly? Does anyone here know?

The block saws from LISSMAC are specifically designed for processing aerated concrete, as stated on their website.
If you want to learn about the suitability of Lissmac saws for cellular bricks, it is best to contact the manufacturer Lissmac directly—that is the most reliable option.

These saws from Lissmac are excellent. I personally own the Lissmac MBS 650, and with it I cut these stones cleanly. This machine comes highly recommended.

Thank you for the tip; I will also get the machine. Now I am considering whether to buy a used or a new machine.

That is a good decision, and a well-maintained machine will still perform its tasks reliably. It is not used continuously, after all. I would therefore buy a used one.

That depends on how often such a machine is needed. I had rented one back then. There was an on-site briefing, and then the work started. Lissmac is definitely a reliable company.
