ᐅ Curfew: Am I still allowed to go to the construction site in Bavaria?

Regarding the current curfew, is traveling a longer distance to one’s own construction site as the property owner still clearly permitted? Or should I expect lengthy discussions with any checkpoint controls? I am specifically interested in Bavaria.

If anyone has relevant experiences or information for other federal states, please always specify the state accordingly.

I also believe that the companies will soon stop work out of concern for their employees.

And it is not always possible to coordinate on construction sites that only one trade is present at a time (even though everyone would surely understand by now that the building process will take longer).

This is not about helping out with construction, but about one’s own property. That’s a huge difference. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be allowed to vacuum at home either.

Companies are still allowed to keep working, right? What about landscaping businesses, for example?

In Bavaria, it’s about restrictions on leaving the house. A shell construction, etc., is simply not “one’s own apartment.” Of course, you may take care of your property if there are valid reasons to do so. In my opinion, private work at the construction site mostly wouldn’t qualify as such.
We just need to be honest with ourselves—everyone is still looking out for their own interests and interprets the Bavarian restrictions as they wish. If a construction loan is so tight that without urgent personal work the builder faces inability to perform, then there is usually something wrong to begin with.

By the way, my husband and I are also currently building, or rather, the start of construction is imminent. Still, you have to put personal interests aside at the moment! Even if it’s unsettling, doesn’t fit the plan, and you would simply prefer to have your normal life back.

Contractors are allowed to continue working. Here, however, some have voluntarily stopped their operations for now; others cannot work due to official individual orders (“quarantine”); still others would like to but cannot get the necessary material at short notice.

Before you continue arguing unconstructively, a brief clarification for all Bavarian home builders:
Is there a source for this, or is it your own interpretation?

Reading is essential. What Nordbayer wrote is exactly stated in the regulation. This is also reported by every news outlet and repeatedly shown on TV. Only valid reasons count. Visiting the hardware store is also prohibited.

What was the question again?
Not whether it makes sense, but whether it is allowed!
Just call the station.

I already said that 2 hours ago. One call and you will know.
