ᐅ Key Challenges in Painting and Decorating (Interior and/or Exterior)

Hello everyone,

I am currently researching on behalf of someone about especially challenging topics in painting or coating, where manufacturers tend to be rather reserved and do not provide much information.

So to all the professionals here: What are some of these issues where you would like to see more detailed information from the manufacturers?

One example from a well-known planner regarding exterior facades is that there are often no application instructions from the external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) for window sills, which has caused difficulties on several occasions.

What topics or tricky situations in this area have caused you problems?
