ᐅ Cracks in the New Roof Frame

Hello and a pleasant Sunday,

before I contact our expert from the Homeowners’ Protection Association about this, I want to ask here first.

Our roof frame was installed last Wednesday, and the underlay membrane will be applied on Tuesday. Yesterday, I noticed a few cracks. They are probably within all tolerance limits, but I would also be interested in your opinions.

I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but you will always have a certain number of cracks in the wood – whether there are too many or if they are too large should be determined by an expert (I personally think not).

These cracks along the grain are harmless and completely normal for KVH.

I agree with that, you don’t need to worry about it.
