Hello everyone,
Two years ago, I bought a house surrounded by a sandstone wall. However, the wall has some (few) cracks in certain areas, and I am a bit concerned about its stability. I would also like to improve the appearance by "removing" the cracks. The largest crack can be seen in picture 3.
What would you recommend doing here, and how extensive is the work needed to ensure the wall’s stability?
Best regards,
Thomas

No, the wall is perfectly straight. There are just some isolated cracks visible. As mentioned, the largest crack can be seen in the last picture. The question is whether this is mainly a cosmetic issue or if I should be concerned about the structural integrity. Obviously, I would prefer it to be a cosmetic problem... Unfortunately, I am far from handy. As a layperson, the only thing I can think of is to fill the crack with putty. That would be the cosmetic solution...
