Hello everyone,
We finally moved into our newly built house one week ago. Now I have noticed a small gap in the bedroom window. Yesterday, when it was a bit windier, I realized that there is a draft coming through that spot. The thing is, my father screwed the baseboard to the window in that room without my knowledge, which means he drilled through it. Now I would like to know if this could be related or if it is a defect in the window. Or should there still not be any draft at this spot? I have attached pictures of the area.
I would appreciate any answers.

The window frame was glued poorly in that area. Get a cartridge of white MS polymer sealant, tape off the area carefully, and seal the problematic spot. Remove the tape while the sealant is still soft. If needed, smooth the joint beforehand with soapy water. Saliva works as well. Be careful, MS polymer is very stubborn and difficult to remove from the skin. Use disposable gloves while working.

I would say it's the window installer’s responsibility to do this properly.
To me, it looks like one of the strips is a bit too short.
