Hello,

how long did it take for you to feel comfortable in your new home, meaning until the boxes were unpacked and you could start decorating a bit, so that you could say this is my new, beautiful home?

Oh man, how can you live like that? I couldn’t do it at all. I wouldn’t feel like getting up in the morning. I did it right after moving in, and after 7 days I was done. I had to work too, but it’s manageable, it’s not a problem.

I hired a moving company, and they did everything exactly the same as in the old apartment. I only had to do a little cleaning myself, and I was also helped by a cleaning lady. I probably worked for about half a day myself.

I wish I were that laid-back too. But I can't afford that. All of that costs money, right? But apparently, you have enough of it :-) maybe you’ll cover it for me as well :p

I think you must be joking, you want me to pay for that? Why would I do that when I could just donate the money instead? So either you need to work more or save somewhere else :-) I don’t earn that much either, I just know what’s important to me.

I have moved many times in my life, and it always takes me months to get used to the new environment. It takes quite a while just to get everything in its place. At first, I usually feel like a stranger in my own home, but eventually, that feeling goes away... 😉

I have also moved many times, so many that I hardly feel comfortable anywhere if I stay too long :-)

So it happens to others as well
