ᐅ Covering a Concrete Staircase with Vinyl Flooring?

Does anyone here have experience with covering their stairs with vinyl instead of wood?

I would like to install vinyl flooring in the house and would prefer to have the same look/covering on the stairs.

That’s definitely possible. What would speak against it? What’s crucial is the proper preparation of the substrate (including the stair treads). A professional company is familiar with these requirements.
