Hi everyone!
Do you have any idea which covers I could use for my hot tub and swimming pool? I’ve heard a bit about them, but I have no clue which one is the right choice. My boyfriend said they are good for keeping the water warm, but is that really true? I don’t want to get one if I don’t actually need it. Can anyone help me out?

Hey there,
of course, you should have a protective cover like that....
The simplest and therefore cheapest option is bubble wrap. You can cut it to match the shape of the pool and fit it precisely. You simply lay it on the water, which saves you quite a bit. Whether your friend is right or not, I can't really say.

I can tell you that your friend is right. This way, the water really retains its heat better, and annoying crawling insects cannot get into the water...

Ok, I have already received two great answers. Thank you so much... Are there any other coverings available? Otherwise, I would like to choose something nicer...

Of course, there are other types of cover tarps as well! My friend, for example, has a movable tarp that acts like a roof over her pool. It definitely has its advantages because even if it rains, you can still swim outside and are protected from the weather. This cover wasn’t cheap, of course. You really have to decide for yourself what suits you best.

Not bad at all with a dedicated roof for the pool!!! I need to see what I will get now, but at least I already know that this kind of cover has its advantages. That way, I can save myself the hassle of frequent cleaning.....Thanks...
