Hello, I have the above-mentioned cabinet and finally installed the drawer. I want to point out that you cannot use it if the siphon for the dishwasher is inside the cabinet – frustratingly bad purchase, but nobody at IKEA mentioned this either ;-((( Now I had to skip the not-so-deep inner drawer and can’t even fully use the purchased waste sorting system because the siphon is simply so large that it takes up half of the cabinet. Is this normal?
Now to my question: unfortunately, my movers attached the panel on top as a drawer front first. Therefore, the holes in the panel no longer match the clips that are used to fix it as a top panel on the sink cabinet. I couldn’t find anything online and the drilling template seems to be lost. Does anyone have one to spare?

IKEA-Experte10 Jun 2012 22:15The Atlant siphon from IKEA is designed so that it does not take up the entire space inside the cabinet. Maybe it was installed awkwardly, or do you have a "third-party sink" with a standard siphon?
Clips? Has something been changed there? The front is just a regular drawer front, which is fastened with two brackets.
A reference to the illustration in the assembly instructions would be helpful.

I have the Boholmen sink. It annoys me a bit that you basically can’t buy a kitchen without entering all the details into the computer on site and then going through everything with the service staff. And then something as simple as the siphon doesn’t fit the cabinet! I was never asked which siphon I wanted; they just said one would be included. It was installed exactly according to the installation instructions. Now I have the “expensive” sink cabinet with the great drawers, but I can’t install the top (inner) drawer because of the siphon, and my waste system only fits halfway—meaning only the two smaller bins fit on one side because the siphon gets in the way on the other side. Grrhhh.

IKEA-Experte13 Jun 2012 16:32It can really only be the Atlant siphon. Was it installed fully rotated to the back, and was the hose length adjusted accordingly? It’s also possible that the position of the connections doesn’t allow for a space-saving installation, but it should definitely be possible to do better than what you describe.

OK, here are two pictures. It’s true, the trap is not at the back but at the front inside the cabinet. Are you telling me the installation professional (a plumber) did it incorrectly? Unfortunately, I don’t know the exact name of the trap, as I already threw away the packaging. It would be great if I can at least fit the trash bin in there; I don’t have much hope for the drawer anyway...
