we have received a quote for the installation of a ventilation system with heat recovery from Vaillant recoVair VAR 275/3, including all ducts, silencers, valves, Helios Flexpipe system, and commissioning for a house up to 150 m² (1,615 sq ft), priced at 13,000 euros.

Is this a typical price for a Vaillant system, or is it an excessive charge from the construction company?

If it is only a central, controlled residential ventilation system with heat recovery, this is an expensive offer.

The price range for apartment ventilation systems with heat recovery, depending on the standard and installation conditions, is between 6,500 and 9,000 euros including VAT for a single-family house with 150 m² (1,615 ft²) of living space.

Additionally, the system can be expanded, for example, with an air- or ground-source heat exchanger. This would add approximately 2,000 to 4,000 euros for earthworks, excluding those costs.

you were discussing prices for ventilation systems. As I understand it, you were referring to a central ventilation system, right? From my perspective, decentralized ventilation systems should be cheaper, or am I mistaken? Could someone give me a rough estimate of what a decentralized ventilation system with 4 fans might cost?

we have a decentralized ventilation system with heat recovery. However, it consists of 8 fans and cost 7000, whereas the company wanted 13500 for a central system, which was too expensive for us.
