Hello,

we are planning to build a duplex house to KfW40+ standard and have obtained the first quote for the construction of a slab foundation.

Although we expected a high overall price for the slab foundation, the quote was actually about 10,000 euros (approximately 11,000 USD) higher than anticipated.

Can anyone estimate whether the unit prices seem roughly reasonable? I have no experience in this area. The supplier is local and very "reputable." We have seen the results of their work on construction sites ourselves, and each time experts rated the quality as good (almost very good). That was one of the reasons we decided to get the first quote from them.

The slab foundation and the house dimensions are approximately 17.5 x 9 m (57.4 x 29.5 ft).

I am not including the total price here, as it does not make sense since the quantities are specific to our project...

Hello Superzapp. The prices are quite reasonable compared to central Germany! It is also important that you yourself say the quality is right and that it is from a local supplier. Is the concrete pump really necessary?

The multi-utility installation seems somewhat expensive to me. I was quoted 650€ by the general contractor. I don’t think they are subsidizing it.

Thanks first of all for the initial assessments.
By the way, we are building in NRW, postal code 48XXX. Is that considered central Germany?

The concrete pump is probably necessary, right? The foundation slab is about 15m (50 feet) away from the street edge.

The multi-utility entry includes installation, correct...?

For us, the price also included installation.

I don't find the multi-utility entry to be too expensive.
