We are at the stage where we can start installing everything on top of the raw subfloor.
We will have underfloor heating almost everywhere, and I plan to install the insulation myself.
I wanted to quickly ask for your opinion on the prices to see if they seem reasonable from your perspective.
Here are the prices (all excluding VAT) from the building materials supplier:
Edge insulation strips, 8mm (0.3 inches) thick / 150mm (6 inches) high: €38 for 100m (330 feet)
Rigid foam board EPS035, 100 kPa, 60mm (2.4 inches) thick: €3.60 per m² (10.8 ft²)
Underfloor heating system mat with foil lamination and adhesive strips: €3.60 per m² (10.8 ft²)
+ a few square meters of sealing membrane and supply materials, so for about 300m² (3,230 ft²) we come to just under €3,000 total including VAT.
What do you think, is this okay so far? Or have I forgotten any important materials?
Thank you very much for your feedback!
