I see it differently. Many companies operate locally and avoid long travel distances. Some have traveling teams, and others work with subcontractors hired on a project basis. Then there are online sellers who collaborate with pure installation companies that operate regionally or across larger areas. I prefer the locally operating companies. I especially trust someone who has built and wants to protect a reputation in the local area to deliver high-quality work.

I asked five regional companies. Their prices were between €1,700 and €2,000 per kW peak. Even though I’m willing to pay a bit more for local businesses, this price was too high.

Yes, of course there are limits. I have seen too much "routine improvisation" from the traveling construction crews used and would not let them near the house. Different customers – different providers. That fits.
