Hello,
we are currently still in the planning phase for our house. The budget is not yet fixed, as we first wanted to get an idea of how much a house according to our concept would approximately cost. From what I’ve read here, it’s certainly not possible to provide an exact estimate; I already have a very rough draft from an architect and a few quotes from construction companies.
Without mentioning any specific figure, I would be interested to know if, based on your experience, these numbers might be roughly in the right range.
Details:
- planned construction preferably with an architect
- about 20cm (8 inches) slope on the plot (along the length of the house)
- 160 sqm (1,722 sq ft)
- hipped roof
- masonry: T10 / 36.5 cm (14.5 inches)
- mechanical ventilation with heat recovery
- air-to-water heat pump / underfloor heating
- 4000 L (1,057 gallons) cistern
- utility connections about 4 meters (13 feet) from the property boundary
- double garage also masonry-built
Estimates please:
- without complex wall constructions (no slanted walls or bay windows)
- no electric shutters
- no balcony
- no floor coverings
- no photovoltaic or solar systems
- no wall finishes
- no kitchen or other furnishings
- excluding bathroom fixtures (to avoid discussions about taps costing €50 or €1500)
- without landscaping
Thank you very much for your input.

- Utility connections about 4 meters (13 feet) from the property boundary
awesomo schrieb:Landscaping, painting, flooring, kitchen, and extras will be additional.
- Excluding landscaping

It will be a two-story building, without a basement. I guess it will be a two-story urban villa.
