ᐅ Cost Estimate for Asphalt in Parking Area – Any Suggestions?

as the question suggests, I need a quick cost estimate. I contacted two civil contractors in my area to find out the price for partially asphalt paving the two parking spaces and the house entrance between the paving and the street.

One contractor wants 800 euros plus VAT, while the other has been postponing for 4 weeks with the excuse, "I’m about to finish the quote." Do you think 800 euros is a reasonable price? Unfortunately, I cannot assess this due to my lack of experience.

The two parking spaces are 3m (10 feet) wide each, and the house entrance is about 2m (6.5 feet). The distance to the street is less than one meter.

Is this already the final road construction or still a temporary construction road? I wouldn’t connect anything to the latter, as it will likely be damaged again once the municipality completes the proper roadworks.

I can’t say much about the quote. It sounds like a surcharge for small quantities.

Lay down a few floorboards as a ramp and wait for the city to complete the final road level. The rest is a waste of money.

Sorry, not mentioned. The street has been like this for years, and the municipality allows it. I have this in writing.

At first, it seems too expensive.
How many square meters is that? 15-20?
What is the base like? Just sand on the ground?
Something will have to be done about that as well.
