Christoph848 Jun 2019 22:11Hello everyone,
We are installing Styrodur 3035 CS 180mm (7 inches) 0.038 W/(m·K) insulation under our 25cm (10 inch) waterproof concrete slab. The basement walls, also 25cm (10 inch) waterproof concrete, will be insulated with the same material. Do the perimeter blocks add enough value compared to regular Corsio interior wall bricks to justify the investment?
(Setup: first row, sealing tape, bricks, second sealing tape...)
I would appreciate a second or third opinion here.
Thank you!
Best regards.

By the way, the hollow brick has a value of 0.45 and the cill stone would have 0.33.
Can you roughly say what difference that makes (possibly also in liters of oil per year)?
Best regards.
