My wife found some pictures online of a wooden deck bordered with Corten steel. Unfortunately, I haven’t found any information explaining whether this is a good combination or idea, or what should be considered.
Could the rusting process release substances that might stain the wood? Is it possible to install the Corten steel in its unweathered, as-delivered state, or should the rusting process be completed first using a fast-rusting treatment before installing it in its final state?
Does anyone have experience with this?
