Hello,
for our new build, we would like to install corner windows.
Now, a builder wanted to place a 36cm (14 inch) thick concrete support column in the corner, on which the roller shutter box would rest. We really wouldn’t like that. Does anyone have corner windows with a roller shutter box without a large support in the corner? Maybe some pictures as well?
Thank you very much!
Regards, Andreas

I can tell you this exactly:
A (our) corner window increases the shell construction cost by roughly 500€ compared to a standard window (including structural analysis).
In addition, there is an extra charge of about 250€ for the more "complex" windows and external venetian blinds.

That’s possible; we paid 5,890 euros for two corner windows on the ground floor.

I would be interested in a more detailed breakdown.

Wait, my 750€ are actually the additional costs compared to a standard window. If I now add the "standard" costs (shutter box + shutter + window), I'm also looking at around 2,000€ for the corner window. So it’s not that far off anymore.
And of course, it also depends on the size...

The price will be for the complete unit and the size will also be a bit larger...
