Hello everyone,
we have a corner plot reserved and are having difficulties with the orientation of the house and the carport. The plot consists of two parts, and the blue lines are meant to show the "building zone."
Unfortunately, on the narrow right section of the plot, there is this "notch" in the building zone. Our general aim was to orient the garden as much as possible towards the southwest.

However, we are struggling to position a house on this plot that is relatively located in the northeast, as well as to figure out how to arrange the access route with parking for the carport and storage room. Would you have any ideas on which direction the entrance could be facing?

I look forward to your input.
Best regards,
Philipp

What exactly is the plot of land here? And where would the access road be, as well as the connection or possibility for a driveway?
So far, there are many black lines, cut-off areas, and two building boundary lines visible.
What do the arrows indicate?
What do you mean by “hook”?

How is this regulated?

And how large is the plot of land?

480 m² (about 5160 sq ft). At least, if you base it on the given numbers and the two parts – the large area on the left and a strip next to it. If the third strip belongs to it, of course, it will be larger.

@TE: I would also be interested in the house design – a square townhouse with 14 x 14 m (46 x 46 ft), for example, offers little flexibility. 6 x 9 m (20 x 30 ft) allows much more – but whether it’s lengthwise or widthwise makes a big difference in room layout.

Basically, you have four cardinal directions to choose from. Anything is possible. It depends on the house and also on other questions that have already been asked.

I would be very interested in this calculation method...

Then it’s 633 sqm (6811 sq ft) of land, calculated.

For the location of the house, the rectangle at the top right is actually not relevant, since you have to keep a 3 meter (10 ft) setback from the boundary anyway (except in planning permission cases).
