Hello

We (female/male) are not sure whether we actually want a corner bathtub after all.

The developer has planned a standard bathtub, but the woman prefers a corner bathtub.

What do you see as the pros and cons of a corner bathtub?

Thank you

We did not choose either option.
We will have a five-sided bathtub that comfortably fits two people side by side.

I have a simple question: what does one of these look like? Could you please share a link?

Enamel bathtubs can be quite expensive, especially when their shapes deviate from the standard.

Personally, I’m not a fan of those symmetrical tubs, which usually refers to the “corner bathtub.”

They are often carelessly pushed into a corner, sometimes even placed under a sloped ceiling. Side platforms for storage are difficult to realize because of the curved shape.

In my opinion, a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio in the dimensions of a bathroom fixture usually fits better in a room than a 1:1 ratio (two equal sides), but few people are sensitive to this.

These corner bathtubs have the major drawback that they are difficult to clean, as well as having high water consumption.

Just keep in mind how much water your bathtub holds and the size of your hot water tank, so you don’t end up unable to fill your large bathtub with hot water.

My parents have a corner bathtub. The problem is that they are either so small that your chest or knees stick out and get cold, or you have to fill them with a huge amount of water.

My parents would never choose a corner bathtub again.

What did you mean by the 1:2 or 1:3 ratio? *confused*
