I finally found a property that meets my expectations.
We are already in the final stage. Now the questions about the investments come up.
I would like to move away from the oil heating system; gas is unfortunately not an option. District heating would be a possibility.
How much does such a conversion cost? Is it more efficient than oil?

For us, it would have been 14,500 euros... Annual costs would have been a flat 400 euros base fee plus heating, with a 10-year connection obligation... In comparison, we (new build, however) paid 17,000 euros for geothermal heating and an air-to-water heat pump (district heating comes from a biogas plant, heat is sold through the municipal utilities).
