Hello everyone,

I finally found a property that meets my expectations.
We are already in the final stage. Now the questions about the investments come up.

I would like to move away from the oil heating system; gas is unfortunately not an option. District heating would be a possibility.

How much does such a conversion cost? Is it more efficient than oil?

Hello
1) - Connection costs a few thousand euros
2) - Monthly fees
You need a heat exchanger / I find it better than oil because there is no odor inside the house and it requires little space for equipment!

The disadvantage of district heating is that you no longer have the freedom of choice. The provider can essentially dictate the prices since they hold a monopoly position.

A couple of thousand sounds reasonable?!

I need an approximate price. Does anyone have any experience...?[ ]

Just call your district heating provider (municipal utility?). They can advise you and calculate all the costs!

12,000 was the total cost for us. This included the compact sewage treatment plant, piping, connections, and so on.
