Hello everyone,

We have two light outlets at the entrance area of our house for which we are currently looking for lamps. Our goal is for both lamps to turn on and off simultaneously. My wife doesn’t like the look of installing an additional motion sensor to control both lamps. If we buy a lamp with an integrated motion sensor, is it possible to somehow link it with the second lamp so that it also responds to the motion sensor?

Many thanks to the experts.

Best regards

That depends on the wiring...

Okay, thanks. I will ask our electrician then...

That’s definitely possible because we have it set up that way. For us, a motion sensor activates a light by the front door and another one above the garage door. The electrician will know how to do it.

Read the post again. There is no separate motion sensor, only a light with an integrated motion sensor, which is supposed to also control another light. Either the light with the motion sensor has an output, or you have to modify the light itself.

Oh, I see, I did misread that then.
