Hello, we will soon start building our house, and a few friends want to help.
How can they work completely without formal authorization (possibly with payment)?
Or is it only allowed to compensate them with goods or services?
These workers are reported to the statutory accident insurance.
Best regards, Caro

hm
I don’t want it to be undeclared work, that’s why I’m asking 😡
I often see on other people’s construction sites that friends help out here and there. Is all of that already illegal?
How do all those people manage it? 😕
If a tiler (a good friend) were to lay tiles on the weekend purely as a favor, is that allowed?
Maybe I should ask the occupational health and safety authority 🙄
Cheers, Caro

then ask how to employ friends legally, apart from that the line between helping neighbors and undeclared work is very blurred. Workers’ compensation insurance is a good idea; besides the high premiums, they probably also have informational materials.
