Hello, since part of our conservatory is being renewed, I am looking for tips regarding the appearance of the windows, muntins, etc. The photo shows the current situation. Ideally, I would like a panoramic glass pane, but the window installer was not very enthusiastic about that. Of course, the price is also a factor. Otherwise, there should definitely be fewer muntins. The question is: 2 muntins, 3 muntins? Should all window sections be the same size or not? Make the muntins significantly narrower (although the left and right sides will remain with the current muntins). Should the muntins be very narrow and dark gray? I am overwhelmed.

Already struggling with uploading the picture?

Because at least for me, it's difficult to evaluate your statements that way...

Ah, OK, now it’s clearer.

Off the top of my head:

- I’m not sure if you can simply remove the current support beams without affecting the structural integrity. I would ask the manufacturer about that. In our case, for example, that wouldn’t be possible.

- Are you aware that a full panoramic window usually costs a bit more than four individual windows?

Based on the photo, I would first check how much a full panoramic window would cost, then swallow that three times, and then just leave everything as it is...

I would also guess that the partition involves structural considerations. The window manufacturer is probably not very enthusiastic about the extra work. And you will be once you see the price difference for a partition. I would estimate it costs a small to mid four-digit amount.

Nobody will help you install panoramic windows anymore – you might as well factor in a truck crane as well....
