Hello,
we purchased the above lighting. No connection cable was included. We didn’t buy one separately either, as we have prepared an additional cable with a switch inside the wall. Can we connect this cable directly to Grundtal, or is a transformer or power supply needed?
Thanks!

Which lighting fixtures from GRUNDTAL?

Cabinet lighting? Track lighting with spotlights? Triple spotlights?

Cabinet top lighting and track lighting with spotlights have a built-in transformer and require a connection cable, which can be cut and connected to a light circuit. The triple spotlights come with a separate transformer that needs to be connected to a power outlet.

Thanks, ELVIS!
It’s the spot strip. Now we’ll see if we can connect the cable to the strip.

I don’t think it will be easy without a connection cable... Just go to Ikea again and ask for an Ansluta 3.5m (11.5 ft) cable. It can be cut and connected relatively easily. Above all, it already has the required connector for the spot light strips.

Hi,

as Elvis already mentioned, you need the Ansluta cable. Just keep in mind that using it will void your warranty for the cable, and any damage to the lamp caused by incorrect connection will not be covered. If you can accept that, the Ansluta connection cable is suitable for your purposes. It comes in 2m (6.6 feet) and 0.6m (2 feet) lengths and has two connectors if you have two lamps. 😎

Hello,
I found something where you can get various extra cables for your lamps.
It’s an online lamp shop, maybe you’ll find something suitable there.
Best regards, Filli
