Hello everyone,

Today, the connection for our shower fitting was installed.

A Hansgrohe showerpipe 160 will be mounted, with an overhead shower positioned centrally above the thermostat.
The masonry wall is 100cm (39 inches) wide, and the future shower enclosure will be 90cm (35 inches) wide.

I didn’t have a tape measure with me, but it seems to me that the installer assumed a standard shower rail with the thermostat shifted to the right side, as is usually installed by default. Or am I mistaken here?

I assume that an overhead shower like this is usually installed centrally?

I plan to contact the builder about this on Monday.

Hmm, unfortunately I don’t have my tape measure with me either.

Here is the missing picture, the PC just didn’t want to cooperate.

Shell construction: white aerated concrete blocks; two pipes protruding from the wall; floor with cables.

Hello,

if the overhead shower is to be positioned in the center, the connections still need to be relocated.

Why not use a concealed installation instead of all the exposed fittings that need plastering on the wall?

Well, we bathe 95% of the time, so our focus is not really on the shower.

I just think that an overhead shower should be positioned in the center, not on the right side just before the shower wall.
