kadi_713823 Nov 2010 20:51If I want to connect three Faktum wall cabinets with illuminated shelves, I definitely need that 6-way connector. The lady at Ikea only sold us one power cable because she said that if you hang the cabinets side by side, you can just connect them directly like that. She sounded very confident, as if she knew what she was talking about. Am I missing something here? Should I have paid attention to something during the assembly? I installed the connection cable in all three cabinets, and now I still have the power cable with the plug left unused.
And if I now try to connect them this way, logically I always end up with one cabinet not connected.
Okay, the 6-way connector is not too expensive, but if I needed it, the lady should have told us that at the time of purchase!
So somehow I’m stuck right now.
Can someone give me a hand?
Thanks!!

Hello
I have only connected two illuminated floors, but I did this myself using my own cables hidden one after the other (however, you need to make a small cut on the side under the cover). So, I switch on the first one and all two light up, or in your case six or more.
I hope I explained that clearly enough.

A 3-pack of remote-controlled outlets with a remote was available for $10 at Real.
For your setup, I could also imagine using this plug hub, though I’m not sure how it works.
Best regards
