Hi everyone,

I need your help—I think I’m having trouble connecting a doorbell with a chime. I just don’t understand the chime’s instructions. The wiring on the chime and the doorbell is different. Both the transformer, chime, and doorbell are designed for 8–12 V (volts). The transformer is already installed in the control cabinet. Does anyone have an idea how I should wire this from a distance?
The green cable is for the outdoor doorbell. The gray one is for the flush-mounted chime inside.

The issue is resolved. The transformer in the control cabinet is not wired. Well, then I need to call the electrician.

It’s actually quite simple. The chime receives continuous power and a wire for the pulse from the doorbell button. If there is a second doorbell button, it can also be connected additionally (with a separate sound?).

Or you choose the melody by trying both options and connecting it where it feels more comfortable.

Be careful with the transformer as well. Most 12V transformers provide direct current (DC), but your doorbell requires 12V alternating current (AC).

It says either DC or AC voltage on it....
