I want to replace the manual roller shutter strap winder with an electric one. Although it can be connected to the socket using a 2-core cable with a Europlug, I don’t find that visually appealing. So, I’m considering chiseling a channel in the wall with a hammer and chisel from the socket, which is just a few centimeters away, and running the cable inside the wall to the socket. It would make sense to connect the cable directly to the socket because, on the one hand, it looks cleaner, and on the other hand, I could then use the socket for other purposes as well. Now my question is: is it that simple? Since the cable from the strap winder is only 2-core, I wonder if that is okay because it lacks a ground wire. I wouldn’t do the connection myself, but would ask an electrician to do it. However, I could save the effort of making the channel and the work for the flush-mounted solution if this is not possible. Thanks in advance.

since the grounding is missing. I wouldn't connect it myself,For this reason, I would also strongly advise against it due to the "missing grounding." 🙄Direct connection is possible because the belt winder is double insulated and therefore no protective earth (PE) is required.
