Hello,
I hope you can help.
Since last year, we have had a new build and a water station from Conel, CLEAR 2.0 RD. Unfortunately, I never received any instructions for the device. Just this week, the plumbing company visited and explained, upon my request, that I need to perform a flush once a year.
Today, I finally gave it a try. However, I have some questions for those who have the same or a similar station.
I turn the valve at the bottom about one full 360-degree rotation until it clicks back into place. During this time, a lot of water runs out with quite high pressure. I did this twice. Is that all there is to it? Or should I open it, wait until the water stops flowing, and then close it again until it clicks into place?
Also, the system has a pressure gauge. My current reading is below the green zone. Do I need to bring it back into the green zone, or will it correct itself over time?
Thanks for your support.

One full rotation is enough.
You won’t get it empty ;-)

Hello,

I'm bringing up this topic again. We have the same filter, and today I wanted to flush it for the first time. But I just can't get the "manual flushing wheel" to move. I tried carefully applying a bit more force, but nothing happens. Is it really stiff and safe to use more force, or is there a trick to it?

Thanks for your help

Hello, were you able to solve the problem with turning it? My wheel is also stuck very tightly!

By wiggling it back and forth and applying considerable force, I was able to turn it in one direction, but not all the way around. Just before completing a full turn, it locked again. However, I could turn it back to the starting position. I repeated this twice in a row, and nothing changed. I plan to do this monthly from now on. Maybe it will gradually clear up and start working normally again at some point. But most likely, the combination of fairly hard water with calcium deposits and prolonged periods without flushing is far from ideal.
