Hello, we are currently building a single-family house with Heinz von Heiden. Yesterday, our intermediate floor slab was poured, and now there is a pile of concrete right in front of our entrance. The site manager says that we have to remove the pile ourselves. Is this legal?

For me (not Heinz von Heiden), the removal of construction debris generated from contractually agreed work is included.

I would never have imagined that the disposal of construction debris could be an extra charge.

At Heinz von Heiden, it can be booked as an upgrade.
And before you wonder why the eaves boarding is not built with masonry – that is part of the painter’s scope on site.

At least at a fair price? Or do they just quickly fill the most expensive ready-mix truck?

With all due presumption of innocence, faith in the goodness of people, and so on: let's not seriously start accusing construction helpers of exemplary waste separation (or even of stalling by gently placing the waste into the container) *LOL*

If a container is placed too early, you can really find everything inside, often more than expected, and completely mixed up. If it is placed too late or not at all, waste ends up buried. At our site, concrete was dumped on the construction road, initially preventing subsequent trades from driving over it. Furthermore, according to our site management, every trade was responsible for removing its own waste. This encouraged hiding waste. After construction, we found unusable formwork boards and scaffolding planks on the garage roof, tucked away out of sight, and we noticed them too late.

Hello,
on our still undeveloped plot, we recently found various garden waste.
I wonder where it came from?
Well, luckily it’s not construction debris.
