Hello, we are currently building a single-family house with Heinz von Heiden. Yesterday, our intermediate floor slab was poured, and now there is a pile of concrete right in front of our entrance. The site manager says that we have to remove the pile ourselves. Is this legal?

For me (not Heinz von Heiden), the removal of construction debris generated during contract-compliant work is included. So just take a look at the contract/building specifications... If nothing is mentioned about it, you can assume that the debris pile is your responsibility. What you do with it is up to you. Maybe the pile can still be integrated into the landscaping somehow? Or buried somewhere as a foundation?
Hello,
Actually, everything went really well with Heinz von Heiden back then, no major problems at all.
The construction debris was included in the scope of work description (I think). We didn’t have that much debris either.
We collected it all in one big pile and, together with the new neighbors, ordered a container (sharing the cost) and had a fun “container loading party” over the weekend with a grill, beer, Averna, and such.
It actually helped improve the neighborhood relationship.
With that,
Regards, Olli

My conclusion after three and three-quarter years on the house building forum is at least this: if I build, it won’t be with favorite Heinz from @fach1werk ;-)

hampshire26 Nov 2020 22:03I never would have thought that the disposal of construction debris could be an additional charge. Our construction site was, without question, cleaned up every single evening. As residents, we are less meticulous than our contractors – sometimes a pile of leftover wood or cardboard remains for a while and is disposed of later.

I choose my own container service and can more or less determine the costs myself. And yes, concrete leftovers were also left in my driveway. Presumably, you could have paid extra to prevent that, which would have meant the concrete pump was cleaned somewhere else.
Before – the three of us broke it down with a crowbar, hammer, and chisel – after, a few hours later
