Hello everyone,
We will start construction at the end of this month. We are building a 2.5-story two-family house without a basement near Kempen in the Lower Rhine region.
In general, I prefer a full brick veneer, mainly because it doesn’t require repainting after a few years.
Now we are considering plastering the entrance area. We are concerned that the house might look too bulky or boxy.
The house dimensions are 14 x 9 meters (46 x 30 feet).
Ridge height is 9.7 meters (32 feet).
Eaves height is 5.9 meters (19 feet).
I have already tried to visualize it using CAD software, but we cannot decide.
Suggestions are welcome.
Best regards,
Tobias

The plaster will be a scratch render that is then rubbed down. It is not painted and practically does not weather.
