Hello everyone,
does anyone have general experience, both positive and negative, with the company Lüumel from Coswig?

I currently have an offer for a heat pump with a horizontal ground loop. I have already read quite a bit about this online. I would be interested in hearing about your experiences here as well. Unfortunately, my offer is not very detailed, so I will get in touch with the company. But maybe some of you here in the forum can help in advance:
How does the seasonal performance factor (SPF) or energy consumption compare to other heat pump systems?
Have you had a simulation or calculation of the SPF done?
What is the impact or buildability of the buried pipes in the garden, for example regarding load-bearing or drive-over capacity?
Is a heat meter absolutely necessary?
What are the pros and cons of a horizontal ground loop? (I know this is a very general question)

But is a second electricity meter really necessary for this, or is an intermediate meter sufficient, since it is also a second meter but does not incur any charges?

Otherwise, I can say that with my heat pump, the discrepancy between the displayed values (electricity consumption) and the meter readings is quite significant.

That's exactly why I installed a separate intermediate meter, because the internal meters are inaccurate.

However, BAFA doesn't mind – the main thing is that it can be read.

The BAFA doesn’t care about that – as long as it’s readable.

When I inquired, I was told that the electricity meter must be calibrated and provided directly by the energy supplier. An interim meter could potentially be "manipulated." I’m currently trying to find the clause from BAFA regarding the meter requirements.

As I mentioned, I originally wanted to avoid the second meter (to save on the basic fee, etc.), but I have not yet completed my cost comparison.

That would definitely interest me – but I seriously doubt it.

BAFA is odd in this regard anyway, as the application process for innovation funding has changed several times...

My terms didn’t mention anything about that – by the way, there are calibrated, tamper-proof sub-meters available (they cost about 10 euros more).

You might also be able to get a calibrated submeter.

Yes, but will it be accepted by BAFA? Well, I have no information on how the values will be read, evaluated, and reported after one year of operation, and especially by whom.
