D.GernerHello everyone,
I have a question.
Is it possible to build an exterior wall using lightweight concrete blocks and use aerated concrete blocks to frame the openings for windows and doors, provided that the compressive strength class is the same?
If this is not possible, can anyone recommend a saw suitable for cutting lightweight concrete blocks?
Regards,
D.Gerner

When building an exterior wall, eventually an opening for a door or a window is needed. This means that the aerated concrete blocks must be cut. Since aerated concrete blocks are much easier to work with, my question is whether the cut aerated concrete blocks can be used in this way?

A tip from us, since we built a house with lightweight concrete blocks about 20 years ago.
The best tool for cutting the blocks is an angle grinder.
This way, you would have solved the problem of working with different materials.
