ᐅ Discoloration of the Linnmon (black-brown) similar to Mikkel's

Hello IKEA fans,

I’m currently sitting at a Mikkel desk in black-brown and writing this post.

Unfortunately, the desk stains badly when it comes into contact with skin sweat. Where my palm rests, the desk is no longer black-brown but has lost its color texture there and appears light brown.



Now I’m planning to install the Linnmon series in my synthesizer playroom because this series has a nice corner element. I already contacted IKEA customer service, who replied after a week

“Dear Mr. xxx,

we have no information about whether the Linnmon model stains. Please ask the colleagues in the store in person when you purchase.

Thank you for your understanding.”

This, of course, is as unhelpful as it is disappointing.

Can anyone help me?
