Hello everyone,
If there are any painters or professionals here who can offer some advice, that would be great.
It’s about a large detached double garage, built with 24cm (10 inches) non-insulated sand-lime bricks and externally clad with facing bricks, with a pitched roof. This is a new build.
I’m planning to paint it. Plaster seemed too expensive given the size.
Is facade paint suitable for this, for example, a silicone resin-based paint like Pufas, used with the appropriate primer?
The drywall installer said this type of paint would peel off and trap moisture inside. However, it should be possible to find a durable paint suitable for this type of surface.
I would appreciate any tips.
Regards, Stinson

Yes, it is about 6.70m (22 feet) up to the ridge. Area is 72sqm (775 sq ft)... Part of it has an intermediate ceiling, another part is open to the top for a hydraulic lift.
I have never plastered myself before, and since it should look reasonably good...
I will first look into silicate paint or limewash.
Thanks already for the tips so far.
