Some time ago, I bought a Besta Tombo door and have now purchased another one. Unfortunately, the combination of white cardboard and glass door shows noticeable color differences compared to the existing one.

Does anyone have any ideas? Should I file a complaint about this?

Strictly speaking, you are not entitled to an exchange. If you had bought two doors at the same time, both would likely have been identical. However, because there are always variations in production (even car paintwork shows slight color differences, which can only be noticed by experienced professionals), especially with glass and paper, it is better to purchase the exact quantity you ultimately need.

Color variations in paper occur, for example, because a young tree is lighter than an older tree. Therefore, there are color differences in paper.
With glass, it is similar, and since recycled glass is used, color variations frequently occur. Sometimes the glass even has a greenish tint, or, which is worse, a brownish tint.
That is the theory.

If I were you:
Pack up the glass door, take the receipt with you, and return it, pointing out that the glass has a brown or green tint. Within the three-month return period, there should be no issues with exchanging it.
