ᐅ Looking for a CO2 Sensor with Data Logger as a Standalone Device – Experiences

I
i_b_n_a_nI am looking for a CO2 sensor (with a data logger for long-term recording) as a standalone device to get an idea of the air quality in different rooms.
Many relevant online retailers offer devices with a measurement range of 0-3000 ppm. Those with a larger measurement range (up to 10,000 ppm) are significantly more expensive, but are they also better? Has anyone here already had experience and can recommend a suitable device? The sensor does not necessarily need to run continuously in the apartment later. No control of the mechanical ventilation system is planned based on this. I would preferably like to try it out in different locations such as the bedroom, open-plan kitchen/living area, and also the office, among others. So a portable device with a battery would be ideal, and optionally with an interface to a smart home system in case the purpose changes.
