fight84If the collar beam level is insulated, I don’t see a reason to add more insulation above that. In other words, I would stop the rafter insulation at this height.

The fact that the insulation on the sloping ceiling was installed up to above the ridge beam might have the advantage that if the attic is converted later, the work can continue from there.
