I don’t quite understand the question.
Screed -> Railing -> Floor covering?
Or what exactly do you want to know?

The insulation, underfloor heating, and screed need to be in contact somewhere; otherwise, the screed will flow away. However, in the end, when the screed is set, everything should align in a straight line—from the edge of the plaster to the floor construction, which will be clad with wood on the side.
If I had said back then: "find the mistake"
... a whole bunch of (readers) wouldn’t have understood that again.
He probably means: at the transition where the stair-side walls rise up to the floor — at the collarless stair opening — you’ll now be looking at the bare floor structure. Now a covering solution for this mess is being sought.
If you didn’t “dismiss” the architect after service phase 4, you’d have someone who should already have drawn the answer. But trying to communicate that as a novice is like shouting into the void — no one picks it up.
Nope, if it's only about preventing the screed from running over the edge — you “form” that with a simple plasterboard edge.

Level, formwork, what else?
Who is responsible for that?
Cover any "bare" surfaces with wood, tiles, plaster, or whatever else.
I still don’t quite understand the issue...
