Hello,

In the single-family house we are planning to buy, some rooms have panels screwed onto the walls (about the size of an A4 sheet). Behind these, there seem to be service channels for pipes, ducts, or similar.

I hope you can picture what I mean.

Is there a way to cover these differently so that they look better visually?

Regards,

I once had a temporary job at a hardware store. An elderly lady came to me and said she was looking for a molding. When I asked what kind of molding she meant, she answered: The one that hangs above my toilet.

... By the way, that’s the only thing I can imagine related to your post.

Here is an example. In this case, there will probably be a pipe behind it. In the other rooms, there are only the panels (without this raised section), all of which are mounted directly on the wall.
