...please don’t be too hard on me for my question!

We are considering building a house in a bungalow style with a finished attic, where the upper floor would only have rooms for the children, and all the living spaces for us would be on the ground floor.

I personally also like city villas with a recessed upper floor and have seen that they often feature a conservatory, garage, etc., with a hipped roof.

I’m wondering how it would look if the roof were extended at the back from the level where the second floor begins, meaning the house would look like a typical recessed upper floor from the front, but from the side it would appear as if there is a bungalow with a hipped roof added at the back.

I hope you understand what I mean?! I would appreciate any pictures....

Exactly like that... finally... thank you!!!!

But it has little to do with bungalow style.
I see a house with a recessed upper floor and an integrated carport.
Build it! This constant "bungalow style with an expanded attic" unfortunately dominates here.

To avoid any confusion: The Mediterranean architectural style is, of course, not exclusive to Varioself. Most builders are likely able to construct it for you upon request.
